The chart says … WebDec 31, 2024 · I am trying to create a formula to get the right gearing on my two BMX bikes. On my 24" Cruiser I have a 40/16, 40 tooth front and 16 tooth rear cog. The chart says that is a 60, and 188.5 roll-out. On the 20" BMX I have a 45/16 which the chart gives as 54.9 and 172.3. The tire diameters are 24 for the 24 and the 20" is just under 20".
