Credit: QUT WebRegulations to allow the use of Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs), such as Segways, were introduced by the Queensland Government in August 2013. The department of Transport and Main Roads provides information on the design requirements and road rules for PMDs. Enforcement of the Queensland road rules is undertaken by the Queensland Police Service.
