WebFeb 3, 2024 · Right now on my Gabb phone, I have all background uses of GabbID and PackageUpdater turned off. So the phone can't update without someone clicking, "Check for Updates." I don't know if this would work as a long-term solution, but I Think* that it would work to prevent Gabb from patching the hack. At least for a while. I downloaded the APK from Aptoide and scanned it with VirusTotal. Then, I put it on an SD card and transferred it to my phone. Once it was on my phone, I ran the APK.
