I lured it into a Trap Basically Built a Holding Cell. you lead the dolphin into it, close the door. then just proceed to tame it. it cuts down the distance the dolphin can go. smaller the better so it restricts it's movement. all you gotta do is hang by it and click pet and feed when it pops up.
